Skupila sam hrabrosti i odlučila napraviti svoje prve "makarone". Našla sam recept na jednom blogu. Iako mi se činio prejednostavnim, bila sam uvjerena da ih je možda i moguće napraviti na lak način. No prevarila sam se. :-) Činilo mi se da mi je smjesa ispala super. Bila mi je čvrsta isto kao na videu recepta kojeg sam odlučila pratiti.
I gathered some courage and decided to make my first Macarons. I found a recipe on one blog. Although it seemed too simple i assured my self that macarons can be made easy way. But I was wrong. :-) I tought that i got the mixture just right. It was thick just as that one in the recipe I decide to follow.
No postalo mi je malo sumljivo kad sam ih počela istiskivati na papir. Na vrhu su mi ostajali šiljci. Mislila sam da će se oni pri pečenju zagladiti, ali nisu. Također nisam uspjela dobiti dvostruko dno po kojem su macaronsi prepoznatljivi.
But it got a bit suspiciously when I start piping them onto parchment paper. On the top of every macaron I got a spike. I tought that they will go away latter in the oven, but they didnt. I also didnt get double botom as it is shown on photo above.
Kasnije sam pogledala još nekoliko recepata i uvidjela da mi je smjesa zapravo bila pregusta. Zbog toga su mi nastajali šiljci i duplo dno se nije htjelo odvojiti. Sve u svemu zaključak je tu: na greškama se uči. Moram priznati da još nikad nisam probala macarone ali ovi moji po ukusu su fantastični. :-) Definitivno sam se zaljubila u njih i pokušaj 2. će uslijediti brzo.
Later I looked at some more recipes and realized that mixture was too thick. Thats why I got the spikes on top and second bottom couldn't be separated from the first. I have learned from my mistakes this time, and I will not make them again. I have to admit that since now I haven't try the macarons, and these tasted so good. :-) I have defenetly fell in love with them and attempt no. 2 will follow soon.
