Ove se godine 6. Međunarodna Gastro izložba vratila u Hotel Turist u Varaždinu. Sudjelovalo je puno izlagača iz hrvatske ali i iz inozemstva. Neki izlagači nastupili po prvi put a većina sudjeluje od prve izložbe. Donosim vam slike i puno informacija koje sam saznala razgovarajuči sa izlagačima. Pa, krenimo.</div>

Hotel Varaždin jedan je od malobrojnih koji su imali Trnovečku makovnjaču, meni najdraži starinski kolač. Bilo je i modernih slastica ali i nadaleko poznatih Varaždinskih klipiča i pogačica sa čvarcima. </div>

Učenice Gospodarske škole Varaždin svake me godine iznenade. Ove godine sami su izradili glinene posude u kojima su pekli tradicionalne kolače. Ovakvo njegovanje tradicije je za svaku pohvalu.</div>

A sada slijedi po meni najbolji izlagač ove godine. Restoran/tratoria Angelus iz Varaždina. Uz ponudu talijanske hrane tu su i sasvim inovativno obrađeni starinski recepti kao ova pohana cvijetača u šlafruku od aktivnog ugljena, pohana teletina u kukuruznom brašnu i bučinim sjemenkama, pire krumpir omotan špekom itd.</div>

<span style="font-size: large;">Pod ovim nazivom pronašla sam više vrsta keksa, no svi imaju jedno zajedničko: orašaste plodove i suho voće.</span><br>
<span style="font-size: large;">Ovaj recept uzela sam iz jedne strane kuharice (500 cookies, biscuits and bakes, Chaterine Atkinson). Podloga za keks je savršena. Koristim je i kad trebam keks kao podlogu za šaranje royal icingom. Tijesto je izuzetno glatko i ne mijenja oblik kad se ispeće. Hrskavo je i jako ukusno. </span><br>

<span style="font-size: large;">Sigurno ste čuli za cimet role, dizano tijesto sa cimetom obično preliveno šećernim preljevom. Ovi keksi su nešto vrlo slično no u hrskavoj verziji. Tijesto jako podsjeća na lisnato kad se ispeće i lijepo hrska, a miris cimeta vas sigurno neće ostaviti ravnodušnim. </span><br>

<span style="font-size: large;">Recept koji sam vam još za Božićne blagdane obečala tek je sada došao na red. No, za ovakav sočan čokoladni kuglof ne morate čekati slijedeče blagdane. Isprobajte ga čim prije jer vam neće biti žao. Ovako fini, sočni i mega čokoladni kolač nisam nikad probala. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Možete ga ispeći u bio kakvom kalupu no tada pripazite na vrijeme pečenja.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Kako su kod nas već dulje vrijeme u upotrebi zdraviji sastojci za kolače tako sam i u ovom promijenila ono što se moglo. Kao što sam već prije spomenula, novo mi je otkriće kokosovo ulje. Njega možete zamijeniti za margarin ili maslac u svim kolačima (osim u keksima ne preporučam jer se topi na puno manjoj temperaturi pa keksi ispadnu gnjecavi). </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Iako sam pobornik bilo kakvih kolača koje ispečete doma, jer je u kupljenim slasticama sve više aditiva i umjetnih okusa, također vas potičem da se usudite isprobati promijeniti i neke sastojke u kolačima. Pokušajte najprije sa integralnim brašnom koje je idealno za kekse, prhke kore pa i biskvite. Probajte i vidjet će te kako kolač može imati još bogatiji ukus nego ste to zamišljali. </span><br />

plodovima zemlje, stoga EKOZONA, prva hrvatska certificirana ekološka robna
marka podsjeća na Dane kruha kao način iskazivanja zahvalnosti na plodovima

<span style="font-size: large;"> I ove se godine održala Međunarodna gastro izložba u Varaždinu i to već četvrtu godinu za redom. Svoje delicije predstavilo je više od 50 restorana najviše iz Hrvatske i Slovenije. Cilj je ove izložbe predstaviti tradicionalna jela. Tako je tu bilo i čučeka, odojka, prepelica ali i ribe i ostalih morskih delicija. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Kako je ove godine zemlja partner bila Slovenija, na izložbi se prestavilo nešto više restorana iz te države nego prije. Izvrsnim specijalitetima od mesa ali i onim od npr. gljiva te zljevkama i pitama od malina i borovnica oduševili su moje nepce. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Ove sam godine također kušala i puno novih jela. Tako su me npr. oduševile pohane paprike punjene svježim sirom koje ću svakako pokušati napraviti i sama. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Prepelicu sam jela po prvi puta te iako je bila umotana u slaninu prilikom pečenja i pomalo poprimila okus svinjice jako mi se dojmio okus mesa te sičušne ptice. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Ždrebeči pršut je nešto oko čega imam mješane dojmove. Kao prvo žao mi je konjeka, al kad je već bilo ponuđeno ipak sam probala. :) Okus je vrlo intenzivan te vjerujem da se ne bi svidio svima.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Piletina punjena tikvicama i sušenim rajčicama nešto je što mi je puno više odgovarala od one punjene suhim smokvama i marelicama. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Oduševili su me i njoki od batata (za koje sam mislila da su od buče) te isto tako oni od heljde. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">E sad da pređemo na slatke stvari. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Ove godine na ovom polju nije bilo mnogo noviteta za razliku od prošle godine kada smo imali priliku isprobati češnjak u čokoladi, mousse od buče i tortu od graha.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Iako volim moderne deserte pobornik sam starih, tradicionalnih kolača pa se tako uvijek dobro zasladim za stolom Udruge žena Trnovečko srce iz Trnovca. Tete rade savršene kolače u kojima se vidi znanje i tradicija. Dušu prodajem za njihove trnovečke makače kao i za gibanice, kiflice, pite od sira i jabuka, orehnjače...</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Probala sam i kremu od badema hotela Turist koji je po meni bio najbolji fancy desert tamo. Prefina svilena tekstura gorkaste kreme bila je prožeta sa lističima badema. Sve zajedno dekorirano sa voćem i čokoladom. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Bilo mi je čast sudjelovati na izložbi. Zaista jedinstvenoj prilici da na jednom mjestu kušate toliko vrhunskih delicija. Šteta je samo što ulaznice za ovaj event nažalost ne možete kupiti. Nadam se da će se to u budućnosti promijeniti. Uživajte u fotografijama i u samo djeliću atmosfere jer vam sve nažalost nisam mogla poslikati. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Ovaga puta izrađivala sam medenjake u obliku svadbenih torti prema zahtjevu jedne mladneke. Za razliku od prije kada sam kekse ukrašavala samo sa rojal icingom, ovaj sam ih puta prekrivala sa fondanom i zatim ukrašavala. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Moram priznati da svaka metoda ima svoju prednost. Ovdje je bilo dobro to što je jednaku površinu keksa trebalo pokriti sa fondanom, dok recimo kod mladenki u obliku srca to nije slučaj pa je onda jednostavnije to učiniti sa royal icingom. S druge strane fondan se može odmah ukrašavati a royal icing treba prethodno sušiti. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Kao i uvijek posebno se veselim izradi ovakvih kolačića za svadbe. Jako je lijepo biti dio nečijeg posebnog dana barem na ovakav način. Mladencima želim svu sreću u braku, a posebno pozdravljam iznimno dragu mladenku Marinu. </span><br />
